1. Purpose & Scope

This policy governs participation in Zenora's Young Changemakers & internship programme and applies to all participants, parents/guardians, facilitators, volunteers, and staff involved in its delivery.

2. Parental & Guardian Consent

Where a participant is under 18, we require verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian before collecting any personal data or enrolling the participant, in line with the DPDP Act's requirements for processing children's data.

3. Data Collected From Minors

• We collect only the minimum personal data needed to deliver the programme (name, age/grade, guardian contact details, and programme-relevant responses).
• We do not use a minor participant's data for behavioural advertising, targeted marketing, or profiling.
• Photography, video, or testimonials from a minor participant are used in marketing only with separate, explicit guardian consent — distinct from general programme consent — and can be withdrawn at any time.

4. Code of Conduct

• All staff, faculty, and volunteers interacting with participants under 18 are expected to maintain professional conduct at all times and avoid unsupervised one-on-one contact outside programme settings.
• Any concern about a participant's welfare or a staff member's conduct must be reported immediately to the Talent management or onboarding team and will be treated as confidential and addressed promptly.
